General description of the collection: The Robert Reader collection includes two folders. The first folder contains the papers of Charles H. Nelson and two personal letters from France at the end of World War I. In the second folder are documents pertaining to individual ready reserve (IRR) obligation, manpower reduction and shortages for reserves and Army (1982-1983). Signatories in the correspondence on policy include Lawrence Korb and Major General H. Norman Schwarzkopf.
